Ernesto Alonso (February 28, 1917 – August 7, 2007) was a Mexican producer, director, cinematographer and actor. He was nicknamed "El Señor Telenovela" ("Mr. Soap Opera") because most of his work centered on telenovelas known around the world.
El Maleficio is a Mexican telenovela produced by José Alberto Castro for TelevisaUnivision and originally broadcast on Las Estrellas from November 13, 2023, to March 3, 2024. It is a remake of the classic 1983 telenovela of the same name created by Fernanda Villeli.
