The story is super weak and totally predictable, terrible script and direction. Nothing on screen feels believable for even a second. Compared to Gone Girl, this one can’t hold tension at all. It’s basically a low-budget thriller parody. Now that I’m writing this I’m thinking maybe the actors were miscast too. I don’t know what exactly is off about this movie, but you just don’t buy any of it and spend the whole time waiting for it to be over.
