Each special contains half of the 24 episode TV series and include limited new animation. The “Reproduction I” OVA also features a newly recorded version of the series’ original opening theme, set to a new opening animation footage. Both parts feature new, previously unheard ending theme songs. Both parts of the specials also aired on the TV channel BS-TBS 5 days prior to their DVD/Blu-ray release (on 17.01.2010).
